Lack of a stable Market or Inadequate marketing information is a major challenge of Farmers of North East India. The north eastern states have high production of vegetables, spices and fruits produces etc., but unfortunately, it could not fetch market price to the farmers at par with the markets in the other states. This insufficient price leads to awfully low Monthly income for a farmers family in North East India. To counter this intense gape and in view of doubling the farmers income as guided by Honorable Prime Minster of India ShriNarendraModi,, we, NESAFE is trying to bring a farmers market in the name of NESAFE KRISHOKOR BOZAAR.

KRISHOK BOZAAR will be recurring assembly of farmers or their representatives selling the food that they produced directly to consumers. We are trying to rebuilding local food economies by providing a cost-effective, retail sales opportunity for local food producers. We trust that, farmers market is a critical component to make farming profitable. By making farming profitable, we preserve farmland and farmers and have encouraged a new generation to take-up farming.

NESAFE KRISHOKOR BOZAAR will contribute to Innovative distribution means that strengthen civic engagement by reducing the social distances between urban and rural communities. With fewer Intermediaries, the support of independent growers by local community members can enhance local economic opportunities and health & wellness in poor communities.
